Makeout Videotape was probably one of Vancouvers best bands. They played a show every weekend and principle song writer Mac Demarco was a musical wizard. Simple but strangely infectious melodies and rhythms. Then last year they seems to vanish, I heard somewhere that Mac moved back to Alberta or something. Anyways p4k has debuted a new track from Demarco who now goes by his full name instead of the Makeout Videotape moniker. Babys Wearing Blue Jeans is a wicked track. A bit more produced and straight forward then the Makeout stuff but also very off kilter and dreamy. Can’t wait to hear the full length! and just for ya’ll a few tracks off Makeout Videotapes last release Ying Yang.
