Himalayan Bear’s Hard Times
Ryan Beattie has been making music in and around Victoria, B.C. for awhile now. A full time member of Frog Eyes, his blistering guitar work can be heard all over their latest record Pauls Tomb: a Triumph. His solo work, first with Chet, and more recently as Himalayan Bear are stunning and subdued comparatively to his work in Frog Eyes. Highly enjoyable stuff.
