Back At It:

Happy New Year everyone! I am very honored to speak for everyone here in wishing you the very very best in the year to come. Did you make any resolutions? I didn’t. I do however have a bunch of exciting news I’m about to share with you in point form.

- In 2010 I vow that we will strive to make Bluegrassish more enjoyable for you. This will include more downloadable mixtapes, a Podcast, more interviews and of course weekly favorites such as Monster Monday. We’ve been really surprised with the amount of praise we have received over the last month or two. We never set out to have a large fan base, nor do we, but we do want to grow and make more and more people happy. So if you have any suggestions or comments please do send them our way, we may or may not take them seriously..

- Feeling a dry winter spell in music? Here are links to a few awesome sites to download music: First off we have the Kingfisher Bluez Records compilation. Our friend Tim worked his ass off to put this out and it finally is! It’s free for download here or you can contact Tim to buy a physical copy for 5 dollars. Well worth it I must say, it features such bands as EEEEEEEK! and The Shiny Diamonds, Count Oak (who was featured in our second article of all time) ButtonFeilds and many more. There really is something for everyone, from the noise drone of Sommer to the quirky pop of Bashu. Seriously check it out! Also incase you missed it, I complied a small winter playlist which can be downloaded here.

- And to cap this whole article off, I will not be making any predictions for 2010, no ladys and gentlemen I am a firm believer in finding things for yourself. Does one need a map per say to venture across the vengeful and dangerous ocean that is the world wide web? I say no. We will attempt to aid you in the discovery of many new and wonderful ventures, bands and just about anything else you could want but we will not be telling you now, day one of 2010 what will be good because frankly we do not know, nor does anyone else no matter what they may tell you. However the band Suckers is pretty damn sweet.
