Woolworm is a band that is close to my heart; I want to hug them. As far as I know most members hail from North Vancouver, and I was lucky enough to meet them. Unfortunately, I happened to be so broke at the time that I sold my guitar to their singer Giles (He was kind enough to pay in cash). You can see the guitar in the picture above.  Their music is right up my alley: dueling guitar chords, driving melody, and urgent vocal delivery that sometimes forgets its softness and opens up with a few quick yelps.

Self described as ‘blanket rock’, it really is hard to think of a genre title more deserving. Spawned of a hardcore band, BODYGUARD, members Giles and Alex also play in the awesome band Falling Down. I would highly recommend checking out Woolworm’s progress. Here and Here!
